Reports about the third quarter sales record results for smartmobile and tablet device have been published. Based on the reports, smartmobile based in Android operating system of Google Incorporated takes the lead and left behind iPhone of Apple Incorporated and BlackBerry of Research In Motion.
As for the third quarter results, positive increased in earning was garnered by Android operating system. It rapidly made its way to the top, moving ahead of iOS of Apple and Windows Phone of Microsoft Corporation.
However, Apple’s overall profit in the industry still maintains the lead as iPhone devices contributed to the biggest portion of its income. The total sales record of iPhone smartmobile devices is 4.2 percent in global market within the third quarter of the fiscal year 2011.
Based on the sales record of Canaccord Genuity, the total profit that has been gathered by the Cupertino-based American company was 52%.
Despite Android’s lead for third quarter 2011, Michael Walkley, an analyst, believes that fifty percent of such ‘remarkable’ big share had been generated in the market where competition in high-end devices is tough.
The firm estimated that Apple will grab a minimum of sixty percent with twenty-nine million sales from twenty-seven million that has been estimated earlier.
Walkley also estimated that by December, before the year ends, the market share of Apple would even present a larger percentage as the results of third quarter are positive sales indications.
