iPhone 5 is not yet released; however, three among the largest mobile carriers in the United States are battling it out to carry the iPhone 5 by Apple Incorporated. However, a report from the ComScore said that no apparent winner is declared.
The three mobile carriers are Verizon Wireless, AT&T Incorported and Sprint Nextel. T-Mobile USA which belongs on the top four largest mobile carriers in the United States is excluded on the list of potential carriers of iPhone 5.
ComScore said that each carrier laid down different offerings which make it more difficult to make an exact prediction of the carrier.
With the existing models of iPhone, AT&T makes a tight hold of the biggest share of consumers. Based on a report, as of the month of July, AT&T has a percentage of subscribers of iPhone at 81.9%. Verizon Wireless falls behind AT&T with only 15.1% customer share in the market.
The percentage of iPhone unit users of Verizon is quite low but the rate of its satisfaction remains to be significantly skyrocketing. ComScore found out in July 2011 that more than 76% of smartmobile customers of Verizon gave the carrier a grade of 8 or above out of 10. Other carriers only have sixty-eight percent. Twenty-three percent of iPhone users affirmed that they are seriously considering transferring to another wireless provider which is a way for Verizon to become appealing to potential users.
