Samsung Electronics Company announced that by 2012, customers should expect more flexible screens with the company’s new smartmobile devices. The giant company based in South Korea also added that after the company rolls out smartmobile devices with flexible screen, they are also planning to make similar technology for its tablet computers as well as other devices.
Robert Yi, vice president for investor relations of Samsung, told the press that by 2012, the flexible screen display for smartmobile is going to be introduced. Hopefully, it will happen in the early part of 2012 Most probably, the application will begin from the side of the handset.
The technology of flexible screen display may dawn in March. The flexible screen display is at its stages of being worked out by Samsung.
Looking back in 2009 at CES, Sony indicated some interesting output within the field as the company demonstrated its preliminary flexible display which showed thinner yet more advanced and flexible displays.
Meanwhile, Samsung took over the spot of Apple Incorporated as the top maker of smartmobile with 27.8 million shipments and garnered a share of 23.8 percent in the market.
