Sprint Runs iPhone Specs

Details of iPhone, SprintSprint Nextel Corporation disclosed information about its version of iPhone with its existing deal with Apple Inc.  The company also said that the net losses of Sprint every quarter have been slashed to its lowest level within four years.

According to the executives of the company, the launching of iPhone which they consider as a very iconic device would move forward the slow turnaround of the company. The executives also added that they are somewhat anticipating the crunch for short-term only. The executives believe that iPhone is a proposition of pay-now, earn-later.

On the other hand, Sprint reported that there is an improvement on their customer count with a net gain of 1.3 million customers who have subscribed with the company from July to September. Based on a report, this period posts the best progress since 2006, during which year, Sprint was not yet offering iPhone.

Sprint which is based in Overland Park summarized their agreement with Apple. According to the executives of Sprint, the commitment is worth 15.5 billion dollars for four years. Worth of seven billion dollars will be sought out by Sprint from the financial markets in order to support the financing of releasing out iPhone. With this, the company is able to meet the payments of their debts and meet its upgrade of network that has been in progress already.

Another announcement was made by the executives about the net loss worth of 301 million dollars within the third quarter. The amount of net loss is said to be one third of loss of the company in the previous year.
